Deep Tissue Massage:  The intention is focused on the deeper connective tissue in the body by using much slower, deeper strokes. This will facilitate a release of tight or tense muscles and fascia. An assessment of potential postural problems and other identifiers that may have initiated pain patterns. If client desires, self help instructions will be provided to prevent future pain. This type of massage is also excellent in recovery from injuries.

Pregnancy Massage: Massages offered during the second and third trimester to help relieve nausea , constipation, fatigue, and headaches, indigestion, increases circulation, increases nutrient flow to the placenta, gives relief to joint discomfort, relieves low back & abdominopelvic pain, relieves minor edema, while fetus receives gentle massage and relaxation benefits same as mom!

Postpartum Massage: Massages in the postpartum period helps bring the body into its pre-pregnancy alignment, aids in the process of the uterus returning to its normal size, releases shoulder, neck, and arm tension from the care and feeding an infant, giving mom a much needed rest. A massage within the first two weeks of giving birth feels wonderful!

Infant & Newborn Massage: Aids in bonding process between parent and child, increases communication through touch, alleviates digestive discomfort (colic), supports the growth of nerve pathways, and enhances sleep. Swedish Massage:  A common form of massage therapy in the United States. It is a relaxing form of massage that uses long, gentle kneading strokes to improve circulation and to reduce stress. Deep work is not usually done during Swedish sessions.

Aromatherapy  Massage: uses the techniques of Swedish Massage combined with the principles of aromatherapy.  Therapists use oils or creams scented with concentrations of plant essences such as lavender to further promote relaxation.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Sports Massage: is used for active, athletic people. The focus is less on relaxation, and more on injury prevention and increased mobility for the client.
